The stars - Blog entry

1. What is a star ?
A star contains huge balls of hot gas. The star looks small from faraway because they distance from us, but a lot of the stars are very huge and brighter than the sun. Nuclear fusions create heat in the center of the star. Many star have different size and colors also temperature.

 2. Type of Stars
Stars are order 4 different types. They are Super Giant, Giant, Main Sequence and White Dwarf. They are also order in other 6 different way categories, ages, size, temperature, luminosity, color and spectral class.
White dwarf stars are white old stars and very small, temperature is in between 4,000 to 7,000, they are dim stars, spectral class of white dwarf can be A, B, F. Main sequence stars are medium stars that can be any colors, temperature and luminosity, they all have different spectral class. Giant stars are large age star, it can be any color, temperature and luminosity, so spectral class can be different too. Super giant stars are super huge middle age stars that can have any color, temperature luminosity and spectral class.

3.H-R Diagram
H-R Diagram which stands for Hertzsprung-Russel Diagram. H-R Diagram is a graphical tool that use to classify stars by their luminosity, spectral type, color, temperature and their stages.

 4.Nuclear Fusion
Nuclear fusion is a nuclear reaction which have to energy source called hydrogen gas molecule. Nuclear reaction inside of a star change two hydrogen gas molecule into helium molecule. When this happen a star makes energy.

5.The life cycle of a Star
All stars is made of a giant cloud,it has gases and dust. Called Stellar Nebula. It can made the three type of star.
